Description
Tubbs company was founded in the United States in 1906, where they started their operations with old wooden snowshoes. However, the modern snowshoes has an aluminum frame which guarantees the lightness of the shoe.
You can find different models in our adventure storage:
- Tubbs Wilderness 25″, which is suitable for basic snowshoeing on trails and in deep snow. Recommended weight limit for this model is 80kg.
- Tubbs Wilderness 30″, which is suitable for a deeper and softer snow. Due to its size this shoe is not at its best on pre-made trails. Recommended weight limit for this model is 95kg.
- Tubbs Flex VRT 24″, which is suitable for basic use and long distance hiking. Recommended weight limit for this model is 80kg.

Our snowshoe rental includes telescopic poles.
You can also participate in our snowshoe excursion, where snowshoe rental is included in the price. We also do snowshoe hikes in the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park and multiday trips in the “Käsivarren erämaa” wilderness area.
